Comite Colbert

Yves Delorme is proud to be part of the Comité Colbert, an organization formed in 1954 to advance the renowned French traditions of quality and fine craftsmanship. The council represents the most famous names in French luxury goods, including Pierre Frey, Porthault, Hermés, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Christofle, Baccarat, l’Hotel de Crillon, and le Chateau de Versailles.

Members of the Comité Colbert share the same fundamental values: a love of beauty, a tradition of craftsmanship and savoir-faire, a passion for excellence and quality, and a commitment to cultivating creativity. To promote these values, and expand the influence of the “Luxe Français” throughout the world, the association works in a variety of ways. It is a venue for the generation and discussion of ideas and plans; it works for mutual protection (against counterfeiting, for example); and it sponsors exhibitions (L’Art de Vivre), competitions (Young Designers Awards), and educational programs.
